Hale Lotus is a tongue and groove western red cedar A-frame house built in 2010. It has 2 large bedrooms with built in closets plus a living room. Lots of windows and stained concrete floors with an artistic etching of a Lotus flower. An attached whismical octagonal kitchen opens up to a large covered lanai that also has a storage area. Next to the lanai there is a detached bathroom with cesspool flush toilet and bathtub with shower plus an additional steel tub sits next to the garden for wood-fired soaking. Behind and surrounding Hale Lotus are many gardens, as well as several fruit trees near the house including avocados, Ka’u oranges, limes, lemons, and Soursop. Between Hale Lotus and Hale Mandala is one of the 2 ponds, and many more trees, plants,and more space to grow.
